Tactile and gracefully sculptural, LLAGUT presents Volume 5, a selection of unique leather hand- bags and small goods You’ll want to touch them.
Volume 5 showcases a mature manipulation of forms, and a playful exploration of subtlety in its details. LLAGUT’s latest designs are intuitively simple. Evident here is sensitive attention to the practise of everyday use. These products respond to your touch in delightful ways.
“We wanted to translate the visual movement of our designs into these bags. But their allure only comes to life when they move with you. It’s not about the bag, it’s about you.”
This is a pared down collection; a culmination of years of experience, refinement, and the joy that comes from good design. This thoughtful drift from the frantic pace of seasonal collections allows LLAGUT to embrace a sensual, sustainable consideration of time’s ability to only improve leather and metal products. Thoughtful colour combinations complement this newest collection. LLAGUT doesn’t do the obvious.
Volume 5 features three handbags and a wallet. Take a look.
Pocket reimagines the concept of volume with an opening at the top that gently slides apart as your hand slips inside. Canasta—“basket” in Spanish—has a handle that o ers an unexpected opening, and Obi—inspired by the Japanese sash—is a smaller bag with a melding of curves and lines. Then there’s Envelope—a long-awaited long wallet, in homage to the simplicity of its name- sake.
Established in 2014, LLAGUT stands for structural design, freshness in detail, and seamless ease of use. The products are handcrafted in Ubrique, a small town in southern Spain known for its traditional and precise leatherwork. As always, the brand makes use of Spanish leather and Italian metal trimmings of the best quality, to accentuate the tactility of these noble materials, and to achieve an almost unbelievable melding of sturdiness and lightness, ultimately leaving you with a sculptural work you can wear.
